It looks like a large one. How does it look inside? Thank you for posting.

Haven't picked it yet. Will post a pic soon

Nice one.
Looks like a pear , waiting for interior pic.

That's awesome! I don't think I have any brebas left on mine after a late freeze.

I hope it tastes as good as the main, I have never tasted its brebas.

Are you seeing any main crop forming yet?

Yes main crop are very tiny

It's good to see pics of this variety. A while back I stuck 5 or 6 cuttings in a 5 gal bucket filled with potting soil and set it in the full shade under a large fig tree. All cuttings have sprouted.

I look forward to getting at least one to full size with figs.

Thanks for the pics. It looks like a good one.

Very big fig. Maybe picking it today. I like my figs really ripe.

Here is,the,final product

This is a wonderful looking Breba fig. Looks like we have All the good figs in Austin, TX already and didn't even know about it. Keep up the good work Richie. Looking forward to the main crop.

Thanks my friends. Sure was surprised to see a dark rich color. Looks like the inside of col de dame fig

Soooooo under ripe.   :(

It was drying out bob. I had to puck it :-) i should have gave it some water.

So was the breba taste that bad?

Like I said I have not tasted brebas from this tree yet, maybe next year.  Looking forward to the main though maybe they will ripen on time this year.

It tasted very good. It was drying out so wasnt juicy. But flavor was really sweet. It is in a small pot and when it started swelling the soil completely dried out but i didnt add water but should have. Didnt have any moisture to finish ripening correctly. Bad judgment call. Never stopped watering like i did. Was seeing what would happen. Richie

I lost an entire crop last season on one of my trees because I forgot to stick to my watering schedule. The figs that made it, tasted bland compared to the previous year. In another case I also saw discoloration of the interior of the fig to the point that you might think that it was a different variety. The interior turned brown. The following season, the color reverted back to the normal deep berry color.
