Am thinking of giving it a try, not only with the figs but would be able to utilize it with my other garden plants.

Decided on this one after looking at the exact same one at a friend's home.

 

I ordered drip materials from dripworks a couple years back. I've got 2/3rds of the yard on drip now and would have the other 1/3rd if I could get around the driveway.

I have not used a kit like the one on ebay.  I will say I've used similar emitters and they are good (though I prefer the variety that dripworks offers)

I also ordered my drip irrigation stuff from dripworks. But bought my timer form Amazon.com (it was cheaper). Have not had a chance to set up my system yet.

Hi Sara, I'm in the process of designing and building one now.  I have about half of the emmitters I need.  I think these emmitters will work great if you have the option to place these emmitters on 1/4 inch tubing.  I like the price and I will be burying my main line so I cam easily mow around my trees without cutting the line.  My system will water trees on my deck and those in my orchard.
