I'm thinking about building one of these in my garden. You can put your vegetables and fig trees out earlier in the spring and then take down the plastic in the summer and have a normal out door garden then put it back up for the fall

They have different models it worked really well, just make sure you get all the same grade rails (thickness and grade) or the arches will be slightly differently bent and try to be consistent where you bend them to get the same arch.  Really simple to set up though, took me a few weeks of an hour here hour there.

You should do a search for a used one as they are usually pretty cheap.
Be very aware that if the structure can rack in the wind and if you get even a small tear ---- zip -- off comes the plastic (don't ever try and hold it down unless you want to go for a ride).
Ours got demolished in a strong wind and when I rebuilt it (was 76 footer) I upgraded everything and reinforced the sides with diagonals. After the rebuild it was very stable.
Make sure you have moveable posts precut so if you get snow you can reinforce the top middle rail.
Have fun I really miss having one of these.
Beware of how hot they can get -- very quickly.
My Sig other forgot to open the door one am and by 11 it was 140 degrees in there and 50 of my figs got toasted and took the rest of the year to recover.

Here's plans of a similar design that I have built, with a few revisions.
I substituted UV resistant Electrical PVC conduit (from Lowes), attached the lower ends of the PVC ribs to the interior of the batten board, for easy attachment of the plastic sheeting and eliminated the mid ribs and tees for easier assembly and dis-assembly, similar to the MotherEarth's Hoop house construction.
 
I plan on using two to extend the fig growing season this year, spring and fall.

If you want go to johnny's seeds they sell something call quick hoop bender its the same as lost creek.  That is where I bought mine, bent the hoops in about 30 mins 6 total ribs (12 tubes had to be bent).  When you attach plastic, poly lock (wriggle wire) is the way to go, it really holds the plastic it.

For growing figs is it better to remove the plastic during the summer and let the fig tree get full sun or is it just as well to leave the plastic on and  ensure ventilation and provide adequate shading?
