Punishing buyers who follow the rules. 

I placed a claim against popcornqueen1987 and Darikthepartsguy.

So for those they have banned me from eBay buyer protection and using the site. However they get to continue on scamming people.

Doesn't make sense, Chris. Any other backgound info you can share?

popcornqueen1987 -> Never sent items nor answered emails

darikthepartsguy -> did not send what he said he would through the eBay messenger system. Was supposed to send fruit and leafs of each variety. 

eBay agreed with the claims and issued refunds.

Hence why on my list I doubt that the Atreano, Celest or Black Mission from Darik are all different to even the variety advertised. I will not even offer those out to people for trade or sale. Would rather trash them first. Unless someone was looking for a tree just to learn on and it would be sent as a fig non named.

I can understand you are upset.
But once Ebay issued a refund you should have just let it go. It was done and overwith at that point.

I only had one issue on Ebay seller and got my refund, it was considered settled and case closed. There was no need for me to persue any other action.

I walked away after the refunds and went on with my life. Yes, I thought the same till Saturday. Saturday, they say I filled too many claims (2 different sales: pop=2 items darik=3 items). 

Too many claims? Are you limited?

Went through the user agreement and says nothing on the amount of claims.

Yes, never heard about a limit on claims, negative feedback or refunds either. Stupid part is the amounts were 17.00 and 41.00. Really a load of crap coming from eBay, when my usual purchases there are 200.00 plus for one item.  

Tough call bro.

I would give them a call and try to work it out. Explain to them your history and the amounts on purchases.

Ask them what was it you did wrong?

Maybe they will have a heart and reinstate you.

To be involved in said class action lawsuits with others i think you have to have suffered the same consequences.
Im not a lawyer but i think one cannot just volunteer to join class action lawsuits if there not affected and have no proof they were affected.

Example few years back there was a class action lawsuit "if" you were the purchaser of certain brand lawn mowers and lawn tractors in a certain time frame and had receipts to prove so.
I did and received compensation .

Otherwise i could not just jump in and get involved in that class action lawsuit.

I think Martin is correct.  Only once did I have a problem on Ebay with a foreign seller, and it was resolved to my satisfaction.  I said I'd sign your class action, but I don't qualify.

I certainly wouldn't want to run Ebay!  It's a monster operation, and big business.  They make money off both buyers and sellers.  Recently I sold many items from JD's mom's estate, but by the time all the fees to Ebay and Pay Pal were paid, for all the work involved, we all wish we had donated everything to charity.

Our housing tract was recently involved in a class action.  It wasn't as simple as the attorneys made it sound.  After sending in our proof, enduring all kinds of time taking inspections and legal documentations, the attorney's took their chunk (and it was a big one) from the settlement, and we all got a pittance.

I know you are upset, and we all feel for you, but be careful what you ask for.  You just might get it!

Did they give you a time frame for being banned? I would think it would be maybe a month or less, as you state you have had a good record until these recent problems

14 days for bidding and life on the buyer protection.

Thats a little extreme on the buyer protection end, the other sounds pretty reasonable and may be a routine procedure for multiple claimants.

I would agree with everything if I had broke the user agreement. When asked they informed that I had not violets ant section. This how they treat loyal users of almost 12 years!
