ebay, ebay, ebay

plant-creator on ebay blocked my bid last night because my PayPal account wasn't linked to my ebay account. I wonder if he really intended to block bidders whose PayPal accounts were not linked to their ebay accounts or just bidders who did not have PayPal accounts?

I have bought and sold hundreds of items on ebay and they never cease to amaze. With fraud being so rampant on ebay it's unlikely I will ever link my PayPal account to ebay.

I can see it now somebody hack my ebay account and somehow finds there way via ebay into my PayPal a/c.

Sorry plant-creator but I've deleted your "see other items" ebay page from my book marks. There are too many fig sellers out there who don't choose to block buyers that do not have their PayPal and ebay accounts linked.

When I sell on ebay, "prefer PayPal" method of payment is good enough for me.

I have bought beautiful items from him and he is very nice.   There is nothing wrong with being sure you get paid and he has the right to set out terms for his payment just as you have the right to pass on his items due to those terms.   If a seller on ebay won't take paypal, I don't patronize them as it just too much trouble and I like the ebay guarantee.  Don't rush to judgement on this good seller.   Joyce  Florida

I doubt he blocked you for failing to link accounts. I have made multiple purchases from him, and I do not have linked accounts either.

PayPal always same day will put money back in you account from scammers and fraud. Thats one reason you pay for your account. Hope this helps. Regards richie

I have a couple I have bought from him as well and my accounts arent linked either. You sure it isnt another issue?

I don't think I was added to plant-creator blocked bidders list. I think when he created the auction he clicked the button that blocks bidders without PayPay. This is an auction specific function whereas the blocked bidders list is a universal function.

Hey Jerry M. So sorry you had trouble bidding on my plants. I do not have you listed on my block list. If you have a pay pal account then you should have no problem bidding. If you do not have a pay pal account then your bid will be blocked. I set it up this way because I had many auction winners that never paid. My account being set up this way saves me time and headaches. Let me know what your interested in and I'll check to see if I have it available right now. If I do maybe we can work something out. Hooray here at f4f and plant-creator on eBay.

Hooray-
That is a stand up move coming on to explain yourself and offering to work something out.

Hooray, thanks for trying to help. I fully understand this is not your fault. It is my fault because I refuse to link my PayPal account to ebay at the time I bid on one of your auctions. When I win auctions I pay immediately with PayPal which I have had since 2001.

The Atreano Gold fig tree plant I wanted is one of the more common ones so should not be all that hard to find.

Again, thanks for trying to help.

wow

See  I told you he was very nice.  Buy with confidence.   Joyce
