Stone858 selling the Italian 258, I wrote to this seller and asked about the mother tree. He knew nothing of the mother tree.  He said he purchased the cutting and it was called Italian 258. He does not give any more information.

Even if he is being honest, you have no way of knowing he did not get scammed in the first place. I would not bother. You are in the right place right now to improve your odds of finding a real 258. Good luck!

I have no knowledge of this seller. Does not  mean the seller is good OR bad. 

You have a better chance if it is a forum member. Ask them. You have nothing to lose.

i saw this on e-bay last night. my question today is does anyone know who this is? they also have other cuttings for sale

Lukeott, I used the ask question and contacted them. The answer I got was, they really do not know for sure what it is. I have an I-285 but wanted to give everyone here a heads up on this item.
