Anyone know anything about seadreamn on ebay? They referenced this forum in their posting but it could be that the crooks are trying new angles to try to fool us.  I hope someone knows something about this seller.

Hey there John. I ran the photos through Google Image Search and some of them trace back to DonCentralTexas. If there were pics from multiple members/sources, the locations did not match or something else smelled fishy then it might be a scammer and it would be a good idea to message the pic owners and let them know something is up. In this case though the location is correct and the images are either original to the listing (uploaded by the seller) or uploaded to the forum by Don. And all the varieties look correct, so there is nothing to worry about.

I am Seadreamn.  My wife created our Ebay account in 2003, I saw no reason to make a new account on Ebay just to post fig trees/ cuttings, which I recently got into (Winter 2014).

Like a good number here I have kinda gone fig crazy :)  

Most of my figs have been sourced through F4F members, I'll stand by the cuttings/trees I have listed on Ebay and If there was any problems with them, I'll make it right.

Thanks for asking it is a good way to keep things on the up and up.

Thanks Don.  I had sent you an email (via eBay) to confirm Brent's suspicion that you were Seadreamn but my email is down for some reason this am.  Thanks for clearing this up.  Can't be too careful with some of the low life that now post on ebay.

Well, I am seadreamn's most recent customer, I bought the Violette de Sollies cuttings from him just yesterday. Just couldn't hold back. He communicated with me well and already has the cuttings in the mail. I think he sent them before I paid for them! I am grateful for this exchange on the forum

Don is #1 in my Book!! You for sure can trust this very Honest Member!! : )

Besides Don sending me beautiful fresh cuttings he went to all the trouble to holiday gift wrap them 


   

Looks great Dave, I know I appreciate it when someone takes the time to properly wrap them. I guess its our Love of Figs and the importance of them to our hobby.

Yeah, I'd say seadreamn/DonCentralTexas is the real deal, see pic. Just arrived via USPS. These were supposedly TWO cuttings. More like two BRANCHES, and fresh ones at that

  And I received the third of the three sets that Don put up for sale...   sorry, no pictures though; as the cuttings (great looking)  were in the aeroponic cloner within minutes of their arrival.
