Has anyone bought the brooklyn white cuttings off ebay with the "buy it now"?? I would like to try to grow them down here but wasn't sure about the source and I don't want to waste my money..

I got this fig tree cutting in 2008, I think the figs are really good .
It has a small eye and it gets shinny when it starts to ripen. I am
happy with it . I am new to figs so I can't say if it is a real
Brooklyn White . This is who I bought mine from.

If I ever send you some cuttings, and you are planning to use my initials in your ctgs source ID process, you're welcome to use the initials WS for my stuff to help keep confusion down. This would be referring to the proper "William" for my first name intstead of Bill..... Thank you Bass. That is one great looking fig. And the description you give them makes me want to try them even more! Hopefully, I will get to do so within a couple years.

BTW Bass, really nice job on how your ebay pages are layed out. I'm studying them as one good model on how I'd like mine to look :-) .

Last year my Brooklyn White(Jon) tasted great. Better than many including Stella & Capelas. Earlier 2 years almost
made me to discard this variant. Good thing I decided to spare it for another year. I believe Jon got his BW from BASS.

Debbie, It might be quicker if we can take picture close ups of the one you have once they ripen and then we can compare them. You dont' seem to live too far from me.

Yes, I will take pictures of the plant when it gets leaves and then pictures
of the figs inside and outside as soon as it gets some. I must say whatever
it is the figs were one of the best figs I have ever tasted.
