This was my first fig tree and here is the posting. For those who that did not read about it the first time.

Yesterday the fig was there and ready to pick. Today went to pick and no fig, could not find it looked all over the tree no fig. Look all around the tree and there it was 4' away from tree,all most step on the fig. I was sooooo glad that I found it, I was sick. Any way. For the first fig since I got the tree,it was good. Jam like Sweet and a little crunch. I lost all of the first fig  this year and all the fig last year do to not enough water. This fig likes water 1 to 2 gallon a day and it is happy.

My $$ says it is Black Mission. Good looking fig.

It took a long time to find out why the figs would not stay on.

If that's a Black Mission, I'm thrilled for my purchase this early spring, from Almost Eden.
It's encouraging, I moved it to a 5 gallon bucket, and it took off like a kite.
That looks like a super fig!
I can't wait.
