EL Marseilles

This, somehow, is not what I expected this fig to look like. Any comments from people who have this variety?

You are right, something went wrong. Here is how my
2002 Marseilles (EL) looks like (6 o'clock of pic).

At that time, the Marseilles was listed as 3 names
Marseilles/St. Anthony/Oregon Prolific.

Now I see separate names, call and ask.

Thanks, George. I think you're right--It looks like the Osborne Prolific that have listed on their website. It has the reddish-orange outside and yellow interior. I was trying for the "St. Anthony Marseilles" that they list on their website and got this rust-colored one. Probably just a screwup.

You get a lot of that from Lowes. I purchased a Celeste and a Texas ever-bearing and they both were Celeste and a very pour representation of a Celeste. The Horticulture professor at A&M said it was not even a Celeste that is was some fig that needed to be pollinated.

George,

Those are some nice looking figs there.

Joseph,

Don't ya hate it when that happens?

Stay well neighbor :)
