Well, I put my order in alphabetical order, just like you asked, so if you could just sub out one BT for everything on my list, that would be greatly appreciated!!!

Wow, I just got screwed, I clicked on the "Final" link, placed my order based on that, and did not realize it was the same form because I was viewing it on my computer and not my iPad.  Sorry Jon.

I cannot open a .docx file and therefore the instructions. Can someone post them or save the file as a .doc or even text file and send it to me, please?

Don't worry, I'm not after those ultra-rare and desirable varieties, just Black Madeira, Black Ischia, Adriatic JH, and Smith.

Thanks,

gary

OK, I'm confused about Black Madeira. Is there something inherently better about the ones that are more expensive?

And now I'm REALLY confused. I thought B Mad was Black Madeira, but now I see there's a "Black Madeira" listed as #2701. Guess I'll go with that one.

The B MAD series are all seedling selections that Jon assumes started from Black Madeira seeds as they sprouted or under a Black Madeira.  B MAD are not Black Madeira.  I believe this was already asked a couple of days ago.  When in doubt, look at the variety descriptions at http://figs4fun.com/Varieties.html

Can people just show up to Encanto Farms and purchase fig cuttings directly? I was wondering if there is any policy against drop-ins who desire cuttings.

Don, for many varieties there is much greater demand than supply and Jon will do all of that sorting out in private to try to be fair to everyone and that can't really be done with folks lining up at his doorstep.  After the dust settles in a couple of weeks he might entertain that.  Many of us have gone there to buy trees already growing in pots.  I've done that a few times.  This is a very hectic time for Jon and I'd imagine from my own personal experience that visits probably are not very welcome.

7 varieties?  How do you do that?  I exercise all the restraint I have and my first list is over 300.  I struggle mightily to get to 200.  Only 12 are E tickets.  I wrestle and sweat through withdrawals and I'm down to 198.  After returning from the ER I have clarity and get down to 160.  Still too many.  As the deadline approaches the meds are wearing off and I don't know what to do.  Soooooo many missed opportunities.  MUST. PARE. DOWN.

And thanks from me, Jon, for giving us the opportunity to share in your precious fig plants.

I did expand my order list to 5, with 25 alternates if the those 5 are already sold out (thats the only advantage to just starting out - they are virtually all new for me).

Thanks HarveyC, I already kinda assumed it's crazy over there. Better to leave him alone now, get all the cuttings to those who ordered them, and see if there are any left over in a few weeks. But yeah I thought about going over there and getting a few potted trees too, I hear a nice mature tree calling me! ;) ...hmm maybe, I don't know how up-to-date the tree list is (http://encantofarms.com/Available.html), but there are a few interesting varieties mentioned...
