PM me if you have no luck, I don't have too much fancy stuff, but I have some good ones.

Do you have Italian 258 and/or Preto?  Unless you want BM just for the name, this varieties are reportedly either identical or extremely similar, and much healthier.  I'd go for them if you don't have them.  If you want BM for the name, understandable.

Oh wow looking at how many different varieties everyone else ordered I feel like I totally low balled how many cuttings I was looking to order. But my fiance is going to kill me if I start growing 20 additional fig trees, on our small plot of land in NYC. So I only placed an order for two different varieties and out of them I got one.

Funny though the one variety I thought that was a given I didn't get, and the one that I thought I wasn't going to get I ended up getting.

I'm going to try and push for 200 fruit trees on my quarter acre.  I'm at 125ish I believe, not counting figs.  I should have at least 50 fig varieties by the time they are ready to go outdoors.

I ordered:
Violette Dauphine RN (1pc)
Col de Dame Gris
Macool
De la Reina
Brogiotto Nero
Violette Soleis RN (1pc)
Noire de Barbentane
Black Ischia AD
Black Bethlehem
Black Madeira

Very happy with my order.  If anyone is looking to trade cuttings they have of the ones I didn't get, feel free to PM me. I also made sure to pay as a personal payment so I paid the credit card fee instead of Jon (good call Harvey!)

Now who will be the first to get theirs to root, to leaf, to fruit, and to cuttings to share with others?

Nick

The good thing about listing lots of rare ones is that for the ones you don't get you can be happy with the $$ you saved.  :)

I got about half what I asked for and only paid 1/3rd of what I expected.  A bargain!

Seriously, how could you not wonder what a fig named Gwador is like?  I couldn't pass it by.

Rcantor, I know what you mean. Last year, I got Blueberry Hill just on name alone! LOL! I think it is a seedling that Jon named if I remember correctly.

I don't think I've ever hit the refresh button as I have since the beginning of Figapalooza 2014. First for the updated list and now for the email telling me what I get. It's nervewracking I tell ya! It is just like an addiction! On a side note, I have a couple gwador rooting that I received from a generous fig aficionado. I ordered one just by name. I think it was Cawla or something similar. It means crow, and I've always been fascinated by crows (as long as they don't try to eat my figs...) ;-)

I only hope that the Dominick heirloom Italian fig tree that I sent to Jon and the foundation this year will some day be offered up to all the wonderfully eager fig folks on this terrific forum. This has been my first dance and what an adventure it was. I am thrilled with a Black Madiera , a St Rita and a Col de Dame Gris

He does that when he has time.  Lately that means once or twice a year.  Wait until after the dust settles from the cuttings sale and email him a list of plants you want to buy.  He'll tell you what he has right then and keep the rest on a 'want list'

Thanks, I did not know if he does it at same time as cuttings, or only in the fall, etc.

He can sell you plants as long as they wont freeze on the way.  His plants never see truly cold weather so you don't want them passing through 5 degree temps.  Here's the available plant list.  It's several months old so some things will be available that aren't there and some that are there may be sold out.

Via his "want list" link, I sent an updated want listt email for the new year to Jon about 3 weeks ago, so I would assume a want list would be like an order? I do not want to over email him, especially now why he is so busy.

I'm honestly not sure how many cuttings are making it to rooting.  Now that I look back, my order was put on the want list 3+ months ago and nothing has come available.

Just curious - has anyone gotten a notice today about their fig cutting requests?  There were lots of folks yesterday who heard and posted here.  I was hoping to see another flurry of similar activity here today that might mean I would hear about mine soon.
