Have you got cuttings of the Lambeth palace fig tree in London ?
You may get interesting varieties too in the Tarring fig orchard :

there are few memebers from UK on this forum, i'm sure they will update with their experience. i would be interested to find out what grows in the UK.

I have at present :
rouge de bordeaux
Brown turkey
madeleine de deux saisons
Noire de caromb,
brunswick or Longue daout, was a gift a few years ago.
4 Italian varieties I got from family in Italy,1 of them has produced very well for my uncle, over the 20/30 years he has had the trees here in england.

Cuttings I have going at the minute, white marseilles,Brunswick,Desert King
