Just photos of the figs for now, but guilty as charged on one count.  The Haikel Lebanese has also got to be in the ugliest fig category......couldn't resist trying it though.  Tried it so fast I didn't even get photos.  It has a big eye, very sweet, a little chewy at the eye.  There is another fig on the tree a few days from ripe, will post photos of the eye and cut halves at that time.

Hmmm, made me go do some research on the original posts.  Bill's figs do indeed look yellow, but in Mario's post below his figs look similar to mine.  Maybe Bill's were not fully ripe, soil mix or maybe weather?

Glad to see the enola fig producing for ya. Hope to taste some here in a week or so.

I do believe that there is a difference between Enola 2 and 3.  3 is much larger and dark purple skinned.  2 is just starting to ripen for me, but appears to be the size of a Celeste.  I'll let you know for sure at the end of the season.

I knew I should have made room for the Salce and Carini that James had at the fig gig.  =(  I brought back 11 that day as it was.  Anymore would have had to set in my lap as I drove...lol.

indestructible87 - sure you have the correct fig?  A lot of things in the background for the Salce.....sky, brown fence, concrete, black pot, other fig trees.  Ooops, but I do see a out of focus fig to the upper left of the Salce, that what you are asking about?  There are also figs in the background of the Carini.
