An Italian gave me some figs from his tree, that his father brought from Sicily and planted in his backyard
(Zone 7), let me tell you, beside all the crappy rains we had the whole summer, theses figs were very Very SWEET, juicy, with a strong figgy/watermelon taste, the eye is very small and the seeds are a little bit crunchy, the tree is a heavy producer.

Well now - they look beautiful George ! Happy to hear it tasted great- I like a sweet and strong figgy taste- and that they held up to all the rains and has a small eye ! When you get a chance , would you post some leaf pics too?
