Did you smuggle any cuttings back like our ancestors did? 

No I didn't. I can get all the fig trees I need the legal way.

Amazing that figs seem to grow in every and any nook and crack.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. Where in Europe were these fig trees?

Genoa Italy, Marsailles France, Valletta Malta were where the pics were taken. I saw so many fig trees that were loaded with figs. They won't be ripe until June and July. It was so interesting to see them growing wild in just about every enviroment in southern Europe. I even saw a few trees growing in Switzerland. I saw them growing out of the side of a cliff on Santorini. They are amazing plants.
