i knew i misspelled something..lol

Yeah, just a little flood humor Pete.  No offense intended of course... but they're calling for flooding here again this week (river's close to flood stage already), and we got socked really badly in 2011 and 2006, so just gotta find smiles where we can I guess.

Could use a spot of rain over here

wish i can send it to you for awhile...

I don't know how much rain has fell here in illinois but I would have to say a lot seems like an ongoing flash flood warning has been in effect for weeks now. I moved my potted figs into the greenhouse so they could dry out;-)

Dave as of last night in Chicago area 28.5 inches of rain from start of year till end of june and its an all time record  for us in area.

We have had a lot. Of rain here in Bond county as well. Flood warnings going off everyday. Somtimes one flood warning overlaps another. How does that work. Where was all this rain last year. It keeps this up I may just grow rice too. :-)

i heard in the news today that CT and NJ got hammered. there's tornado warning about an hr away from where i am.. i guess mother nature found out that i watered my figs extra this weekend and gave them fertilizer and lime. she's trying her best to flush out all the stuff i gave my trees.

Ok who is sending rain from the east , we have a low spinning counter and bring rain here going from east to west yup east to west.

Think snow if your tired of rain.   ; )

Well, the tropical downpours started this morning. We have received over 3.5 inches of rain from 8am until 12noon and it is still coming
down in buckets and expected through the weekend. I had finished fertilizing all 135 pots with Espoma Plant Tone before the deluge. How much
water does it take to wash the fertilizer though the pots and down the drain?

crazy wet in VA as well. last, ye ar we had some nice dry spells.. was hopin it was dawn of mew era.. not quite

i'm actually seeing some sun right now.. few hours ago, we had storm that lasted about 15 min. it rained so hard, i thought the roof on this office building will cave in. i might give handful of fertilizer this weekend. i'm sure whatever i gave last week has been flushed out already, if not splashed all over my deck.

spoke too soon.. i need to clean my humidity bin, but it's raining outside. some cuttings of Conadria EL came in from very generous forum member and i need to move them to cups, but can't clean my humidity bin.. urgh..

one the good news, two of my Huernia are blooming. i'll post pix when they are in full bloom. this weather is just killing me. can't take pix of my figs.. the light is not good enough.
