I know it is early but I am already getting excited for next  season... I can almost taste it. Thinking about bud break makes me giddy. I hope everyones' figs have a nice good sleep so they can get back to work come spring!

Tell me about it.

We've been in our new home less than 16 months. Put in over 100 feet of fence, a couple hundred feet of water line, cut down 4 large mulberry trees, a pine tree, ripped out at least 25 bushes and shrubs and planted...so far...17 fig trees.    The neighbors think I'm crazy, but that's ok.

Most of our trees have done pretty well here their first year and are now well established.  As for next year...I can hardly wait.

Me too, to see how Havasu (has leaves Dave) and all my other new little guys
act in this hot/humid climate.

Im like a kid in a candy shop thinking about spring. gotta alot to do before then though.

I'm starting to get antsy again... reading fig recipes and the likes is not helping!

Dave - what about a partridge in a pear tree? :)

I am also thinking about changing the garden I put in this past year!  I know - sounds crazy, but I was thinking about doing raised beds, just not sure how I want to go about it and what's the best way.  Decisions, decisions decisions......
