Steve;
Which Paradiso do you have?

The Gallesio Paradiso like Gene's or the Real Eyetalian Paradiso that Maggie has?
Ox

Hi Ox,

It is the "Gallesio"

Now Martin-Unknown should have been 2 cuttings for $5 because just looking at that beautiful big black fig should cost something extra when it is ripe and where it ripens.
Just kidding... but I was able to root one cutting of it despite the fungus gnats problems last year. It is a 1.5 ft whip now. Thanks Martin.

I agree that those big beautiful figs are worth the extra $ but I have a a lot of wood from those trees. The prices reflect how much I have available. Good to hear from you Ottawan.

All the Ventura cuttings have now been spoken for.

Glad to see the unknown is available that was what i had hoped for.
Even though i no longer have the plant its nice to know its out there and hopefully doing well for whoever has it.

Hi Martin,

We all thank you for bringing this fig to all of us. A great fig from a great forum member.

All out of Armenian and Ventura.

I mailed some pencil thickness cuttings in US and the cheapest postage was $9 for 3 cuttings via priority mail.

Hi Paully,

You can use USPS Flat Rate boxes/envelopes for about $5.00

Steve, I did ask about it today and was told not always the case. Probably the sweet girl doesn't know. Would try again the next time. Thanks for the info.

I just received a package of cuttings that were mailed in a bubble mailer envelope which measured 10.25" by 14.5". There were about 8 to 10 cuttings about the length of the envelope and the postage was only $2.24. I also received some in a postal service box used to mail CD's or VHS tapes. The box contained about 8 cuttings and the postage was only $2.58. Cuttings don't have to go via priority as long as they are wrapped in moist paper and seal in a baggie of some sorts.

The small USPS box is $4.95, and cuttings fit well in it, but it is limited to 1# for the price.
