Fall planting new rooted fig cuttings

I have about 12 potted fig trees that I got maybe a month ago. A neighbor let me dig up several rooted suckers/ root sections from her established trees. I believe they are black mission but not sure ATM. They have all put on a decent bit of growth in the pots . 10 or so leaves a piece. I have them in a unheated greenhouse at the moment and according to the almanac should start getting frost by end of October here in Arkansas.

Should I leave them in the pots in a unheated greenhouse till spring?

Will this allow them to still drop leaves and go dormant?

Or should I plant them in the ground already and mulch well. So far most of the figs I've planted always die back where I live in 7a

I have same problem, I have a fig tree from Italian family 5 years ago,  It bearded 200 main crop green honey figs with pink flesh this year but all dropped without ripen, I got 10 sucker from this fig tree 1 month ago, They was leggy with little roots, I cut them down to 2 inches above soil in cup, Now, it grow more roots now with a new set of leaves, My house is unheated, I am in Zone 7, temperature will down to 40F,  I put them on my windows sill, I am thinking to plant them down to park near my house at spring time when weather get warmer, but it is  5 months away, not sure I should allow them to go dormant or not, It might not have enough energy to wake up at spring time. or I should trash them in garbage can now.
