Well, Barnisotte is a very slow grower but one of the best figs around. The tree at UCD is a dwarf tree. But is amazing. It just doesn't get the attention like the other hottiees every body wants. I got a couple of Barnisottes. They're in 5 gallon pots. They fruited last year but for a young tree, the figs were pretty good. But the FMV isn't that bad.
Black fig taste amazing and Barnisotte is one of those figs. I'm starting to cull some green figs to make room for trees like Barnisotte.
