Fast growers - pinch the top or not

Hello,

Couple of my cuttings are growing very strong, so I was thinking about pinching the top to promote branching. Do you thing I can do that now, or should I wait until next year?
Please look at the first two pictures.
In the third one it looks like I can hope for some fig this year.

I have been pinching them since the stage you are at now and they have branched out quite nicely.

You can snip it now or if eventually putting in bigger container let it grow taller then snip it.

I have been pinching mine for the past couple of days.  Especially the fast growing Sal's Figs that tend to grow a strong vertical main trunk/stem like the one in your second picture.

Look large enough to prune some to me.

Thank you all for your comments. I will choose two of which I will pinch the top.

Hello Laurentiu,
You will get much larger growth by letting the cutting grow as a single trunk and prune or pinch at your desired branching height later in the season or next year (once it has lignified and the vascular system has developed). The main trunk will be much larger in diameter, and will develop much larger branches when it is pinched or pruned. Good Luck

cutting in its first yr, i don't do anything to them.. well i fertilize them and add lime. in 2nd yr, move to larger pot and start pumping fertilizer to get bigger tree. in the winter of 2nd yr, i'll prune as needed. but that's just me :)
