In the spirit of this time of the year, I would like to offer Green Ischia cuttings to the newbies (and oldies) belonging to this great forum .
3 nice cuttings for $5 shipping and handling.
This is one of my favorite tasting figs. The wife and I literally wrestle over who gets the first and last figs of the year (she usually wins).

Limited to approximately 10-15 packets only! I may even throw in a cutting of some other interesting variety as a surprise bonus. (I have 60+ different varieties) and no, you do not get to choose.

I was thinking that the bonus cutting should be from my Morocco tree. The original came from Casablanca's sea-port. The infamous Costa Concordia cruise ship was involved, but that's all I'm going to say about that.
It has not produced for me yet, so that's all the information I have on this fig, but I would like to spread it around and eventually get feedback as to how it did for you.

Just a question. How old is that GI tree in the picture?

To everyone else,

Frank graciously provided me a rooted and growing Green Ishia in the summer of 2012. I planted it out last Spring and it is a good grower. It is now about three feet tall and healthy. You can't go wrong with this one. Just remember as with most figs it will taste better with age. Give it time to mature and you will be rewarded with a top caliber fig. Congratulations to the lucky ones and I'm sure he'll have more next year for the rest of you.

The mother tree is over 12 years old. She has has contributed many progeny and continues to do so. It came from EL originally.
