few days ago i moved all my cuttings to the cups.

and now i'm running into a problem.

last few days have been rather humid and cloudy. some good rain here and there. today, it's sunny. very sunny. not a spot of cloud. the leaves are wilting and look as if they are done for.

so what do i do? i cutt hem off and leave the stems on the tree.

i think i should put them indoor and let them out slowly.. but i'm done with shuffling. when moving 1 gal to larger, i usually cut the leave off after the repot and leave 'em under the shade. so i'm dong the same thing. cut the leaves off and leave them in the shade. hope some of them bounce back.

Do you have an extra white bedsheet you can toss over them until the sun isn't directly overhead any longer?  That should help reduce the direct light significantly.  Also make sure they are watered... we get so afraid to water our cuttings indoors that we tend to underdo it when we move them outside!

actually, after the leaves were taken off, the remaining new leaves are bouncing back nicely. i'm hoping others leaves coming along will get used to new sun much quicker. and if lose some.. oh well. they are all on front porch with partial sun. last 3 yrs it worked very nicely, but this yr, i'm not sure what's wrong with them. maybe they grew too quickly indoor.

Need partial sun for a week. I avoid any direct sun during that time.
