Ok Picked these figs last night from left to right we have Ficazzana from Grimo, Black Yugoslavian in the middle and Unknown Black Fig from Minho region of Portugal Supposedly.

BLACK YUGOSLAVIAN

BLACK MINHO FIG  not fully ripe

FICAZZANA FROM GRIMONUT

Best balanced flavour was from the Ficazzana followed by the Black yugoslavian its a huge fig need to eat it like an Apple. The Black Minho was not fully ripe but was sweet and had crunchy seeds looks very similar to brown turkey. All three plants are young and again we have been having rain every day this week and none of the figs on the plants split so far.

Here are pics of the leaves

Did you have some ripe figs from these earlier this year or is it the first time they ripened?

Hi Akram, The Ficazzana ripened quite a few figs this season I received the bareroot plant this year from Grimo in late may. First ripe figs were first week of september and it is by far the best tasting out of these three. The Black Yugoslavian was the first fig to ripen for me from Cutings I got from Dusan last summer flavour was average but plant is also very young flavour was very similar to the Monrovia BT I had. This was the second fig the Black Minho ripened first was allot sweeter and  ripened around Sept.15th This one in the picture flavour was just average.
