Does anyone know of any information about this fig? A kind forum member shared some cuttings recently and I am curious to know more about Fico Papa.

I have a fig called " Il Papa "  which is the term for the Pope in Rome in the Roman Catholic church.  This will be my first year with it.  Is this the fig you are talking about?   Ciao.  Maggie

Ciao Gorgi,  I thought the same thing,  Its horrible to even come up with something so offensive to name a fig.  I certainly wouldn't even have a fig with that name.  The one I have is simply Fico Papa, or Il Papa, definitely not something named after the genitalia of  the leader in the Roman Catholic world,  horrible whoever thought of that.  Ciao
