Not sure if anyone got the Afghanistanica to produce, but from what I have read the F. Afghanistanica in the US was all grown by seeds. That means the majority of the seedling may not produce fruit and require pollination.
I haven't gotten fruit on mine, a friend in Israel got two one male and one female. He confirmed that what he has is a smyrna type fig.
