Fig 4 Fun fig cuttings

We have finished taking cuttings from 2 private collection and most of the small F4F trees. There are still many F4F trees to prune, as well as some additional private trees.

They are not as hardened as we would like, but the reality is that they are as hard as they will get as they are about to break dormancy (and some already have).

We expect the first part of the list as early as tomorrow with additional portion to follow. We have chosen to break it up so that they can be shipped at the peak of freshness.

See Encanto Farms Nursery for updates.

For our friends in Canada, we will not be able to ship plants or cuttings until Fall 2014 due to Light Brown Apple Moth quarantine restrictions. We are infestation free, but were included in the quarantine zone last year. We are cleared to ship within the US but Canada requires us to be infestation free for 36 months before shipping.

Oh boy, we're all lining up now! The day we've been waiting for.

I sure hope work is slow tommorrow!  I'm having great luck with the bag method, although potting soil and long fibered spagnum moss seem to be working better for me than perlite, especially when it's time to transfer.

Hey Little John you can't cut in front of the line like that its not fair and im telling the fig patrol !

Martin,look out, I pull pigtails too! :-)

I think that Encanto Farms is the most F.carica-wood-germplasm

info/supplier on our good-old-planet-Earth...

Agree Gorgi !
Me now i just like to get small plants im done with gettin bugs in the house from propagating.

Little John oh so your one of them line pigtail pullers eh?
Well with me you end up with and hand full of air not much to get from me im Italian but one of the jewish caps would make me look like a i got hair !

I'm hoping to be able to add a few to my collection this year. I haven't been able to add anything new for the past few years, so maybe this year will be different.

First portion is posted.

What a nice dilemma to have, figuring out which ones to request.

What is the link for the list?  I went to the scion page, but no new info is shown.

Try refreshing your browser.

Thanks, that did it.

Sigh....  I refreshed this list every hour at work but when I got home I forgot because I had to build my second plant light, then I examined my cuttings and more have rooted!   Yay!  But it's sad to realize that 2 hours in my requested variety may be sold out   :(  A toast to all us fig folk and our host!

Link not working for me.  I refreshed it many times.

I can't get anything to come up either

nothing here either.

:(

sad I'm missing out....

Checked it this a.m. and it is fine. Cuttings

The problem may be what you are expecting to see.  Unlike previous years, the list is not actually visible on the "Availability" page.  You have to click on the "PRINTABLE LIST" link.  That downloads a Word document with the list.

Hi everyone,

Can someone tell me where to locate the "printable list"? As with others, I cannot find the cutting list either with the provided link.

I was trying to request early this year before everything was sold out. LOL!

Thank you!

Christy

When you click on the "Printable List" link, you should get a prompt to download the file.  It will then open as a Word document.

C.J.

But I do not see where the "printable list" actually is.  I do not see it on the availability page or any other pages.

I know, I probably will feel dumb after I finally figure it out!

Thanks, Christy

"printable list" is at the very bottom of the page. in the center. click it.

If you got here http://encantofarms.com/Available_Cuttings_2012.html and scroll to the bottom of the page, you should see a link that says "Printable List".  If you click on that list, you should get a prompt that asks you to open or download.

I am really feeling dumb right now!

I do not want to sound crazy, but when I go to that page, there is nothing to scroll. It is just a page with no scrolls, with the pic in the middle.

The last written line on my page is "Our trees are almost dormant, though the wood on some is still a little green."

Maybe it is my computer, I do not know but there is no place to scroll.
