Fig breaking dormancy

My Brown Turkey fig plant went Dormant in September but has begun breaking dormancy this week. The Breva crop started developing and then the leaves came out because winter so far hasn't been very cold  (a bit of frost, no snow). It warmed up outside (10 to 15c - in winter!) and the days are getting slihtly longer which I guess is why it broke dormancy. So I've moved it indoors to protect the crop, it's in a sunny window at 23c - do you think it will be alright? I expect that there may be snow or at least frost in January or February which is why its not outside.

If it's growing then it sounds like you don't have much choice. Keep it warm and either put it in a sunny window or if not possible then use some grow lights.

Several of mine broke 2 weeks ago, Adriatic and a few others, Mulberries too!

My trees are still in a state of suspended animation. A couple nights ago it was 0F with a high of 23F. It's suppose to warm up this week with highs in the upper 30s to 40s. It's gonna feel like summer! Wha hoo!

If it has enough light and water it'll be fine.  If it looks light deficient add some CFLs in the back.

For me long range forecasts are showing 8+ days above 40 with several straight days into the mid to upper 60's. Anyone have any tricks to keep outdoor trees dormant?
