Fig Clafouti

This is Fig Clafouti made with figs frozen one year ago.  I will find out how it tastes at a dinner party tonight but it smells fantastic.  It was very easy! I was surprised at how well-preserved the figs were given that I just tossed them in a ziplock bag and threw them in the freezer.  I hope to get enough figs at one time from my young trees to make this again in a couple weeks.

 Gorgeous!!  my fave deserrt.  very glad to hear about the frozen figs worked out.  That's a major PLUS PLUS

I quartered the figs when they were semi-frozen.  When you thaw them there is some residual fig syrup that comes out of the figs but I just put that into the recipe along with the quartered figs.
