Fig cuttings

Looking for col de dame gris and col de dame noir.

I can trade some Sal gene's cuttings... or pay.

Thanks!

I don't have cutting of this variety and never looked for it because it is mentioned to be a late ripening variety. I hope your (eventual) growing it in the north-east in CT will provide some good information to others in the NE. Good luck.

I let a few varieties go dormant for a couple months, and then put them in a controlled setting where they get southern exposure.  This year was the first that I've tried this, and so far, one variety has grown a good foot, and another one has 3 fairly healthy figs on old wood, while its sent off a ton of growth as well.  Wish I had more room, as does everyone.

Thanks!

Ottawan, West Coast here need more figgers to promote fig growing, longer season. You are most welcome. Its the warmest place in Canada without the hottest seat. Come on over. If lady luck smile on me this friday $50 million jackpot, I can afford to ship you & Jon over pronto.

It is Friday and I hope by the end of the day you hear about your "$50 million jackpot". Good luck. Until then watch the winter Olympics in BC  before the snow melts under their feet if it is that hot.
