Hi Everyone,
I am new to the forum and are looking to start growing figs. I have a lot of plant experience and currently own orchids, and a variety of tropical fruit trees. I live in Vermont so I was thinking cold hardy varieties/ early to ripen would most likely produce more. Off hand I was thinking: Hardy Chicago, Negronne, and Celeste. If anyone has suggestions on what varieties work best in this environment that would be great. I would love to try Italian Honey Figs and some other not as hardy figs too; so if any one has experience with them in colder environments that would be great to hear. I didn't mean to offend anyone by asking for cuttings/ I wasn't privy to the forms general consensus on this.
Thanks
Becky
