Fig dormancy order

So its Nov 1st and two of my trees have gone dormant so far and the rest are quickly following.  I found it interesting that the two that dropped their leaves 1st were Desert king then Hardy chicago a week later.  I know these two varieties are know for surviving in colder zones in ground.

I was wondering if others who have these find they go dormant sooner than other varieties do?  And if so, do you think that would help them to be better hardened off? And might contribute to their cold hardiness?

Here is a pic of my Hardy chicago from 9/28 and another pic from today of the same tree. 3rd pic is my Desert king which lost all its leaves 2 weeks ago and looks like in the last few day put a few back on.  Lowest night temp has been 52 degrees, but last few nights its been warmer in the low 60's so that might be why the desert king has started leafing out again.

I do know that smaller trees (1 gallon, for instance) keep there leaves longer than larger potted or in-ground plants.

I agree, I bought 6 "desert king" variety fig trees.

I put 4 bigger trees in ground 7 weeks ago, 2 of bigger tree has dropped all its leaves, and 2 smaller trees are still green with hint of yellow.

2 smallest one which is in 1 gallon pot are still all green outdoor.

temperature is 52F at night here now
