Thanks for sharing that Bass.
While thruout the years ive learned those things amd after a while one seems to read the same thing over and over its good for many that are new to the growing of figs.
What i might add to his watering and the nail thing is ive learned some years back the best method for me with trees in pots is a ROSS tree root feeder a long aluminum rod that hooks to a hose, at the end of this rod are 4 holes, the other end of feeder has a covered cup if one wants to fertilize which i do not use for my figs trees this way and a lever to turn on the water. Its nice because i can stick it anywhere in the pot and shoot a nice blast of water which helps a little break up the soil and gives a nice deep watering when they need it, its nice because using a watertng can many times it will run down the sides of pot and out the bottom with the root feeder YOU actually direct where the water goes usually i go right thru rootball in several spots.
Oh and before i forget and its a known fact that plants do respond to music , i did mention in past i sing to my trees especially when i root prune them, course ive been known to cuss on particular plant often.
Thats Amore!!!
