Thinking about putting together a Fig Fiesta in San Diego.

Looking at 8/24, 8/31, 9/2 Labor Day, 9/7 So that it will be in the middle of fig season.

No specific agenda, at this point. Looking to see who is interested in coming, and what date(s) would work best for them, and what they would like to have on the agenda.

Food? Fig Tasting? Plant sales? Plant exchanges? Plant raffle? Speakers? Tour(s)?

Will probably make this a Figs 4 Fun Foundation event, and will probably have to have some kind of limit on attendance.

Jon, I'll come if you have it either 8/24 or 8/31. September 7th is the date of our Southeast Fig gathering.

This is when I miss being on the road. I bet it will be a blast.

Jon, I'm good any of these dates. I think this should include food/appitizers and I can help with the food prep. We definately need sales and exchanges. I have some trees I can donate to a raffle. Speaker and tour, possibly.

Count me in, Saturday is better then a weekday for me. Would be very enjoyable to have a fig tasting, some food (maybe a potluck), and of course a plant sale/plant exchange.

Bass any of these dates close to when we are going to ucd?

I will be there with plants to trade/donate.

Jon, any date except 8/31 is good for me.  I need an event like this to learn more and lift my fig growing spirits.  I seem to be doing my best to kill many of my babies in moving from moss to cup or cup to pot lately.......... urgh

We have chosen Saturday, September 7th for the Fiesta. This will be a benefit for the Figs 4 Fun Foundation. Details in a few days.
