Thank you GeneDaniels

Hirta/Pastiliere?

Hirta/Pastiliere for me as well .

more than likely Violet something or the other. truck is pronounced "doraku" or something. certain things just can not be pronounced properly.

i won't be surprised if that thing is some what related to Black Madeira/Violeta/Fig Preto. japanese folks look for the very best.

well... think of it this way, there is a huge Japanese community in Brazil. What figs are famous in Brazil?
Hint:... Brazil speaks Portugese!

Just a little research for you.

Google translator says Biore can mean Violett.

Take a look at this link  http://www.hawaiifruit.net/Figs-Japan.htm   It suggests that only a relatively few varieties of figs are grown in Japan after the 1960's.

Another link from this forum http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=6003318 shows a picture of a fig named Violette Dauphine (listed in the first link) or Violette De Argentueil.  This link http://www.galgoni.com/ENG/Fotos_Maxi/015.htm to more Dauphine pics was further down the page   The pics look similar in shape, eye, white dots on skin, and flesh.

that picture in above post is not Violet Dauphine. it doesn't have red stem, which is always the case with Violet Dauphines.

ビオレ-ソリエス pronunced Bioresoriesu  "ビオレ"(Biore) means "violet"
and I think "soriesu" maybe come from "Sollies" because it written by katakana alphabets.

I thought VdS from the start.  Classic shape and all.

no,it is Violette Soleis

Correct! Violette Sollies. A relatively common fig grown in Japan.
Mine originated there!

Roxo de Valinhos is grown in Brazil.
