Fig from Lebanon for trade or postage

A friend's grandmother brought two fig trees from her village, Baskinto in Lebanon.  Baskinto is located in the mountains above Beirut.  I was able to get a number of cuttings from these two trees.  One tree is a large purple.  The other is a smaller brown.  I will do trade first for anyone interested in these Fig cuttings.  Any cuttings left I will send for postage.

I would love to get some of the purple cuttings if you still have some. PM me and we can arrange a trade.

P.M. sent.  Do you know if they need pollination?

ejp3, they do not need pollination.  They have been growing in Arkansas for fifty plus years.  We do not have the fig wasp in Arkansas.

Vern,

It's spelled Baskinta, it is in a very high elevation with spectacular views. It is known to be a summer resort town, and for its fruit trees and vineyards. Have you sampled these figs?

Bass, Thanks for the correct spelling.  I have not tasted these figs.  My friend says the purple ones are better than the brown ones.  I have seen what she calls the brown ones.  She had a freezer bag full in her freezer.  These figs looked bigger than a ping pong ball.  To me they looked yellow green and brown, not just brown.
