These figs were seen in a house in Italy. the fruits seem to be enormous size. Anybody knows the name of this variety?

A completely ripe fig ?

Very nice looking fig tree.
I hope that it is Longue d'aout !
I have Longue d'aout from cutting, it grows very fast here even with cool climate here.
It doesn't have that pretty long finger leaves yet.

My very small Longue d' Aout has all his leaves like that. Strange...

Oh, I think that I have a wrong label  Longue d' Aout cutting, very disappointed .

I think there is a chance that you may have a wrong labeled cutting or it may be that in some conditions the small plant doesn't show this pattern until later.

Anyway, I went looking for a earlier photo of my young Longue d'Aout and the 5 finger leaves pattern was there from the start (right side plant on next photo)



 

I couldn't get much closer because of the fence and hedge. I believe the ripe figs were eaten by the owner. Ha. ha.
