Figs are always nice.
Then there is the offer of a homemade spaghetti dinner ?
Growing up thats one meal i always ate on Sundays.  ; )

the figs are identified as follows
The first brown fig is a brunswick
the second red fig is a sicilian red
and the third green fig is Binello or Fig Of Napoli.

Nice finds, Al. Fig hunting is always fun. And up North, it's a year-round sport. The leaves are easy to pick out in the summertime, and in the winter, trees wrapped in burlap have a way of standing out. Especially when there's snow. A lot of times, you have to walk or drive through alleys to find them, but that just makes it more fun. In my experience, if there's a statue of the Virgin Mary or a Franciscan Monk in the front yard, there's at least a 25% chance that there's a fig tree in the backyard. And yeah, everyone I've met who has a fig tree in their yard has been really nice and generous with figs, cuttings, and/or trees.
