I got a cutting from a member but we don't know what variety it is. We know that it came from Italy years back. Does anyone have something similar or can come up with a name to help solve this unsolved mystery?

As for myself, sorry but no I won't have any cuttings since my tree is too small. But my friend may have some and if he does he will post it. I would of but I left the figs growing on it at the expense of branch growth just to get a few figs. I guess I was too greedy and didn't have the heart to break them off. The tree is hardy for the Pittsburgh area.

Thanks Eden, I'm trying to get all my mystery figs named. I got another fig which is suppose to be a honey fig but may not be. Time will tell. Can't wait to get them all identified and do some taste testing!

Tony's cutting is from my mother-in-law's tree. I have a Lattarula, but I am not sure these are the same. The leaf shapes are slightly different and the figs on the lattarula have a different taste (not quite as flavorful).

I also have one tree tentatively ID'd as Italian Honey and again, the figs are slightly different. My honey fig has tiny white speckles on it and the mystery fig is a uniform green to gold as it ripens.
