I'm new to fig growing and collecting so please forgive me if this is absurd.....  Is it feasible and affordable to submit our "mystery figs" for  DNA testing ?  I'm insecure about the ID of my figs.  I'm not a snob to reject a good fig for lack of it's birth certificate but I don't have room to grow 4 replicas under different  names.   It's apples and oranges but my daughter has her cattle affordably tested for many types genetic expressions
Thanks Soni
