Got some cuttings from a friend last year of a green fig that came from Astoria Queens.....The neighborhood was predominately Greek .....any idea on what it could be......calling it unk green Astoria for now......this was my first main crop fig .....it was very good ...lots of pictures.

Looks like Vasilika Sika
That's a tasty looking fig but the leaves are not reminiscent of Vasilika, which are thinner and more finger like. Could be a Ischia or Verte fig variety
John, I agree with vasilika sika, but the one that herman2 has, not the dalmatie/stella version.

Yep agree ,there seems to be a resemblance to Herman 2 variety maybe he will give us his opinion ...
Well looking at the interior color,it is not as dark red as Vasilika Sika,but matches the interior color of Adriatic JH.The leaves have a different shape compared to VS and more like Adriatic JHThis is my opinion when i look at the 2 tree,that I am going to show pixies down here:First pix is Adriatic jh
