Here is a great fig. It was brought over from Sorrento Italy. It now lives in NJ zone 6 uncovered. I had to pick these figs a couple days early because the squirrels are relentless. The color is chartreuse to golden yellow. The flesh is dark pink. It tastes to me mainly like a honeydew melon. Very sweet without being overly "figgy" tasting. I would call it a dessert fig. When ripe it will drip honey. If someone could ID this for me I'd be happy to send you a rooted plant when they go dormant. FYI, I will have plenty of cuttings in the fall-I like trades. PM me.
