fig id needed with pics!

Hello I found this old tree here in Fresno and was lucky to talk to the homeowner. He was very excited to talk about the tree too. He said the previous homeowners were middle eastern and he believes it came from there. It only yields a main crop and is loaded with delicious sweet figs. My picture quality may not be the best but one observation is little white dots on the fig similar to kadota.

I’ve seen similar figs in Los Angeles but the leaf shape was totally different, the fingers were not so thin.
The Kadota I know is honey colored inside and pear shaped, this looks different.

Atreano?

There is no breba crop

Leaves look much like Atreano.

Great fig ! One easily imagines how delicious it will be. Assume it's a main crop.
If brought from such far away lands it's because whoever did that, was well aware that he would take one of the very best in town !
Given its abundant and conspicuous seeds, full and syrupy pulp, looks like it received pollination and could well be a caducuos type.

Whatever it is, I would say it is a champion!

Nice find, glad the owner had some information for you. I hope they let you take some cuttings.

The owner stated it only has a main crop. Doesnt atreano have a breba?

I will be gathering cuttings this week. The owner was very receptive to allowing me to take cuttings. I really want to figure out this variety though. Can this be a caprified Atreano? This is not a large fig, probably on the smaller side.

Here you have a good deal of info on Atreano
