Dear Fig Friends & Masters! I need your help:-)

2 years ago, I've shared my cuttings with my farmers. cuttings from mnedelcu and martin's yards.

but some of them abandoned my "GIFT" and forgot about it:-(

I've disappointed. but what shall I do? It happens. People just don't know the value of GIFT.

Today, I've found some of them from pumpkin yards. westsides of 5 stories building

It survived... but not in good condition.

I've decided to rescue this poor fig from pumpkin jungle in fall season.

But I can't tell it's species. If you can tell, please let me know. It will be a great help.

weak & small size. but survived 2 winter season. Don't worry baby, daddy come to save you!

Any suggestion will be helpful:-) Help me!

That happened to me too. I gave 3 fig varietes to a woman who was truly interested but she just abandoned the pots and didn't even water them. I wasnt able to save them.  She had changed her mind and wanted stone fruit trees instead, which is Ok but I wish she'd given the figlings to someone or back to me .  :-(
I'm happy you have a chance to rescue.

You can compare to what you have growing but right now it would be a wild guess as that plant looks like it has had lots of competition growing in that spot and undersize for 2 seasons old.

remind me of some of the Paradiso figs i have.. also remind me of the saying.. "people want bread, not the land..". in this case, they don't want fig nor fig trees. lol
