Hey guys anyone know what this fig leaf looks like? Was supposed to be Rimali, green fig w/ strawberry pulp. Was surprised to find, the fruit was black. Similar in size to RdB. Taste was yucky, since the plant is small. Although my Sicilian Black fig plant was smaller but produced amazing figs. When the remaining fruit ripens I'll take more photos. The leaves look similar to my VdB.

My Rmali leaves look similar to yours. I pulled off all the figs this year.

Are they thick velvety leaves?

I left mine on this year. I was quite surprised the fruit ripened to black. According to BASS's eBay description it is supposed to be green colored figs w deep red strawberry pulp.
Is there a chance green figs turn black for whatever strange reason?

Howie, It doesn't look like Rmali. Their skin should be light green. I am wondering how the mix up happened, but I will make sure to send you a replacement if that's not what you got.
