fig identification ?

Hello everyone, i am new to the forum. I lost my fig tree over the winter it was around 8-10 years old it produced a lot of figs and was very upset when i lost. I should have grown others just in case something like this happens but i did manage to save last years clipping and is starting to sprout. my question is does anyone know what fig it is i know the tree came from a cutting from Sicily thats all i know. also i am in zone 6 Northern NJ and my passion for fig trees has taken off i am on the search for multiple fig trees now and they will be potted so the can be taken in on winters. any suggestion what trees do well in zone  6.
This is what my figs looked like and this is the cutting i have(cant figure out how to paste the pics)

Thanks

Figured it out how to post pics here. This was my figs that I use to get. They were so good

Thank you, yes the one seems to be doing great hopefully it makes . Would love to share this fig it was really good, I have been trying to upload a pic if the tree but it's saying file image exceeds . So I'm in a stump on how to send it .

Maltafig - you will need to use a photo editing program that can open the photo and save it as a smaller file - I think to post on the forum it has to be under 1 MB size.  I take most of my pics with my iPhone and then email them to myself - the iPhone app asks what size photo I want to send and I can choose.  The sent photo gets saved and used on the forum.  There are numerous programs though that can do the same for your computer.

Thanks eboone I will try that with my iphone when I get home

Here is last Years cutting before my tree died this is all I have left from it. Like I said not sure what kind of fig tree it was
