Fig juice

Has any one tried fig juice?
It tastes like black figs... These come from Turkey but the juice company is based in my town.

Wow . Really? Looks good

Bass this sound wonderful , fresh pressed , organic ! Will have to ask if locals would be willing to carry it.  Thanks for posting this .

That sounds and looks delicious.

It's delicious for sure.
It is a bit pricey. Much more expensive than orange juice.

Probably takes a lot of figs to make a quart.

It's no wonder expensive.

I tried the fig juice earlier this year while I was in Germany. Didn't like it, it was too sweet. Will give this brand of fig juice a try. Thanks Bass.

Navid.

*Edit: Earlier last year, 2012

Considering the fig 'in natural' ripe only has a 4-5 day shelf live, producing the juice makes a lot of sense...if they don't do what they do with oranges (grinding skin and bad ones with it) - it does looks very good.

Thanks, Bass.  What are the ingredients listed on the reverse label?  100% Juice does not mean specifically it is 100% fig juice.  Labeling rules allow plenty of room for "creativity" which is sometimes misleading.  I've seen some juices give the appearance to be one thing but then read the number one ingredient is grape juice.

im thinking fig wine

Dave, as soon as I can buy or produce enough figs I will definitely be making some fig wine! Since I started making wine fig wine is one I have been wanted to make, really don't see it often and I love fruit wines. Something a little different.

Jeff that will be excellent and unique wine. I have try your apricot wine and it is excellent.

Good Eden i am glad to hear that
Extremely hard on my self about my wine and want some input to better my wine making skills.
