fig leaves turned to burned yellow

hi all,

recently we have had a heat wave in our region, i noticed that tow figs
there leaves turned to be yellow with signs of burning at the ends.

should i trim them to the half? or i should i water more frequently?
i'll appreciate any help.

Greetings, looks like a typical case of far too much sun in short amount of time on newly formed leaves. Aka "sunburn". During the hottest time of day you might want to attempt to shade them a bit. I wouldn't trim the leaves, or over water.

Thanks Maro,
I may shade them a little more from the sun. Any way figs are hardy plants so they won't die!

How long ago did you plant these trees?

Hi cis ,I planted those trees before 1.5 year, before that they were in pot 6 months.
I know that I harry in transplanting my figs to there permanen place ... I think I should change that attitude..

Put some composted manure down and then mulch on top. Don't shade it.
