I looked over the forum and haven't seen an answer for the question, which I haven't seen asked either. So here is the question, drum roll please! What type of Figs are used to make fig Newtons?
I believe it is the caprified kadota fig.
I think I read somewhere it the Celeste/Malta/Sugar fig.I will check online sellers. I believe it is used in a plant description.Mike
